1. What RetirePath is. RetirePath is a retirement planning and modelling tool. It projects what your stated income, assets and spending might look like over time. It is not financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed financial adviser. Nothing in the product, on this site, or in any exported report should be read as a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any financial product.
2. Your account. You must be 18 or older, provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. One account models one household's plan.
3. Your data. The figures you enter are yours. We store them to provide the service — to keep your plan saved and synced. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising. You can export your plans and delete your account at any time.
4. Free trial. New accounts get 7 days of full access, free. We don't take card details for the trial and it never converts into a paid subscription automatically — you only pay if you actively choose to subscribe.
5. Subscriptions and billing. Paid features are provided on a subscription basis, billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We may change pricing with reasonable notice, applied at your next renewal.
6. Refunds. Because the free trial lets you try everything first, subscription fees are generally non-refundable — but if something's gone wrong (a charge you didn't expect, a technical fault that stopped the product working), contact us and we'll put it right. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including any refund you're entitled to for a service that fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
7. The numbers. Projections depend on the figures you enter and the assumptions the model uses (growth rates, inflation, pension rules). They are estimates — real outcomes will differ. Rules around superannuation, tax and pensions change; we update the model as they do, but we don't warrant that any projection will match reality.
8. Acceptable use. Don't misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or probe the platform for weaknesses. We may suspend accounts that do.
9. Liability. To the extent the law allows, RetirePath isn't liable for decisions made using its projections. The tool informs; the decisions — and their consequences — are yours. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that can't be excluded.
10. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
11. Changes. We may update these terms with notice on this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
